1277 Mower Deck.

Recommended Posts

CB1993

Hello. I just purchased a 1277 today and was wondering if there was any info on the mower deck. Is there a manual for this deck? What kind of belt is used? I have attached some pics. Thanks for any input.

The mower deck PTO belt is with the schematics of the MOWER DECK....not the tractor.

There should be an ID plate on the mower...

Thanks for your reply. Any idea where the ID plate is located? I can't seem to find it.

Deck is not for that tractor. Belt is probably 1/2" wide (4L). Take it off (Take pics) and bring it to a Napa or something similar to match it up

Well it looks like I'm out of luck. I have been looking for blades for my Lawn Ranger and having zero luck. I have tried Wheel Horse part numbers 7908, 7909. Toro part numbers 8777, and 53322 and no one has anything like this. I was thinking about doing a cut down, but finding right hand and left hand blades seems to be the problem.
Anyone making blades, constructing blades, got a work around, etc? My blades are usable, but that is about it.

I bought a C-160 beautifully restored but I plan on using it for a dependable mower.  The deck is totally shot.  I have a 42" deck that is currently on a 310-8.  Will it fit on my C-160?

Also, do most of you members use a lawn mower jack to work on your wheel horses?  If so, which one would you recommend?  Thanks you!

Hi all. I have a 1277 that I pulled a loader off of. I’m not going to use the tractor and although it’s trashy, there may be usable parts on there that someone needs. Let me know what you need and I’ll see if I have it.

I’m in MA and plan on going (first time) to the Big Show. Also, if you need something from the MA area brought to the show, I’m your huckleberry
