Don't think I've anything here like that but I'll take a peek.

That small one I offered is still available but your range would be pretty short.

I appreciate that. I have one about the size of a brown bread can but would love to have something bigger

Wow, lotsa catchin’ up to do!  Love the take on the grille, love the hood, don’t see why you’d look for a tank when you could easily fab one! Use a tank sealer kit like KBS and you’ll be good to go!  @Lane Ranger had a post a while back with replacing the fuel neck for an RJ, etc.

Thanks @pullstart. Took the grille dimensions off my RJ. As far as the tank goes, I was looking for a easy way out. LOL

Found ya something !!!

10" long by 6" diameter, center cap and center petcock, mounting straps and bracket. Not too bad inside either but could use the cleaning described earlier. The cap is kinda funky and could certainly use a new one. It's probably a $50 + tank on epay but since this is RedSquare, it's yours for the cost of shipping if you want it.

Thanks @wallfish thats a great offer and a nice looking little tank. I appreciate the deal greatly. With a bit of persuation I think I may have to build a tank. If the tank build goes sideways I will definitely take you up on your offer.

The man on Full Custom Garage built a old style oval gas tank for a tow truck. He cut out a hard wood oval and formed the tank ends over it. then rapped the sheet metal around the ends.

Ian is awesome. I have used wooden bucks several times. Actually thats how I formed my dash panel. I may use a thin wall pipe to start with.

@Oldskool

Please take several pictures of the build process. I'd love to see that.

What's a tractor without a hitch. This morning's project is just that. I can adjust from 8" to 9.5" to 11" in hieght. One side can adjust 1" up or down from being level and the hitch is set for 1.5" increments offset for side towing

Awesome stuff, @Oldskool!  How about a shop tour, what are your tools in house for the build?  Hammer and a chop saw?  Great work!

Agreed.

Shop tour would be pretty epic given the builds you're doing.

@ebinmaine @pullstart.  LOL You wouldnt want to see the shop at the moment. When I get on a build it's like a tornado hit. As far as tools on this build goes. Grinder with various wheels, drill press, hand drill, welder, oxy/act torch, hammer, vise, what ever I can weld the the bench to bend metal along with a wooden hammer form for the dash and basic hand tools. I do have a lathe but havent used it on this build yet. That's about it. I guess there is a Sharpie marker, masking tape and cereal box or 2 for templates. I mostly just wing it really.
