It will only go 40 mph like it is in a limp home mode. After changing the transmission oil he drove it 5-6 miles and rechecked oil level at plug and it was good. The old oil was really black. He’s down on himself for killing it when he tried to do the correct maintenance on it. I wonder if changing the oil without being able to replace the internal filter dislodged some crud that go stuck in the electronic valves. I guess theirs always a chance some metal shaving got in it when I drilled the broken bolt out, but I sure tried to keep everything plugged and tin cleaned really well. He hasn’t taken to a shop for any diagnostics. He bought the car about 4 years ago with around 60k miles and now at 122k miles. Any thoughts or suggestion you could share would be appreciated. Thinking turbo bypass valve or wastegate. Any check engine light?

As customary as to not get run over by a garbage truck, You pull over onto the shoulder way early before turning. As I did I realized just ahead was a pile of manure left over from a leaky Honey Wagon! No way to avoid it. I got out of the Ridgeline at the site and exclaimed, " It sure stinks around here!" When I got home and pulled into the garage I got out and said "Yup still stinks!" Went to the car wash and got back home. "Yup still stinks!" This one is gonna take a bit! That's a sh!tty thing to do to a self-respecting Ridgeline!

I'd known him since I was 10, maybe younger, and he was 75 when he died. He had a very gentle way of correcting out-of-line youngsters to the point that I didn't realize how he'd done it with me until years later. https://obits.pennlive.com/us/obituaries/pennlive/name/george-vazquez-obituary?id=59007344 Edited August 6 by adsm08 1

My stuff is all in the 60-year range, and I don't think I've ever had a nicer cut. There are a few spots where my grass gets very thick and I have to go in 1st gear, and sometimes make two passes, but the end product is so nice.

OutdoorEnvy 1,785 #8685 Posted August 7 Well finally joined the revolver ranks. Been wanting one for a long time and picked up this S&W 65-3 with a Simply Rugged Holster. Will be mainly used for target fun and woods carry. This was a police service gun from the 80s. I like the no fuss fixed sights and the 357 magnum with some 180 hard cast bullets will be a nice upgrade over my 9mm's. 2

I'm really thinking about one of these: It won't kill anyone, but it will hurt the whole time they aren't dying, and I'm sure there will be a bit of "surprise factor". 1

8ntruck 8,121 #8692 Posted August 8 I saw some Agra Fab 54" wide tow behind lawn sweepers recently for $325. This compares with Brinley 48" sweepers for about $100 more. Think that the Agra Fab units are too good to be true? My current sweeper is a well used unit somewhere between 20 and 30 years old - loose enough I worry that it might expire during this year's leaf cleanup. WHX?? 52,842 #8697 Posted August 8 (edited) Tagging @jeremi3210 & @Pullstartas they have the same camper. Keep an eye on it bros. Ramp door must have been leaking. A long time by the way it looks. Linoleum trapped the moisture in. Spent two days ripping out rotted wood and replacing. Not a huge job but 85 in the shade here. Cut the moldy linoleum out to the top of the dove tail and new underlayment to be coated with bedliner. Used treated lumber for all it's worth. Treated plywood holds up quite well (at least the old stuff did) Wonder if some ventilation and/or drainage to allow the trapped moisture escape would be helpful?
