Went to the local spring consignment auction today. Not much small stuff this year. But we did sell an unneeded vehicle, and came home with a Case model 10 sickle mower and I bought a Ford 8N, so now Tasha and I have his and hers N tractors

I have the same problem in my shop !... Turn lights out...radio crystal clear !...

What's the remedy ?

Check for any new USB Chargers or Tools quickcharger.

Disconnect them and check the Signalstrenght of the Radio.

Yap i knew, FCC told you - if it’s conform it shouldn‘t be happen, but it did.

The most batterydriven (Lipo tools) working with switching power supply’s,

what is mosly the cause for a immediately Reciever signal weakness.

- check this out first. I bet this identify you problem.

Remove all electric Tools or better their chargers from Powerplugs

aside the radio and switch off all LED Lights in the Workshop, even if Workshop lights itself if it is LED.

Do this up to 4 meters arround your Radio and your Problem should be solved. if that is your cause

begin first with switch light on, and listen if signal goes weak.

that piece by piece.

if you found a thing that disturbs, try to move it little more away from USB and LIPO chargers..

Spread some human waste from the city of Milwaukee on the yard.

Put 25 bags of rock into the flower beds.

I used some of that from one of our local treatment plants...it was mixed with mulched up yard waste.

I did not really like the way it turned out a few years later...

I used it in flower beds and it looked great, but it formed a layer than would not let water through and had a layer of fine, tiny roots laced through it.

Fitted a 4 camera cctv system at my dad in laws place, just a basic system but he can sit in his chair and see front and back of the house on a dedicated monitor.

Easy to install as the cameras are wireless and only need a 12v supply.

Hoping for a day off today as uts our May Bank Holiday. You can tell that as its bloody freezing lol.

Steady, heavy rain as well. Sent the holiday makers and tourists packing. :D

Where did you get the cctv system from, Mick?

Saturday, my brother’s family came over, along with our mom.  It was the first time the kids have ever come over.  We cooked out and it only took 3 grills and 6 hours!  The charcoal just wouldn’t snake properly to get 200 degrees, then the meat went into the electric smoker, then finished on the LP grill.

The onion bombs, though lunch was served at 3pm, were absolutely amazing!

More pictures of the main event, tractor rides, coming soon...

On Friday my middle daughter married her future Husband.

we do it Corona conform, only outside the registry Office we be without masks after Testing.

They agree to keep her Surname as Family Name - a big honor for me, but now i become the „Senior“ Sign...

it make me feel immediately a little older.. 😉

back at Home and after Job i spent a little time into the Shed and plan a little further the Rear Backhoe for the Beast.

as allway‘s i like to use Things i have on hands. So i must build and construct a few things my own.

i just need 2 Hydraulic cylindres, but i like to rethink the whole Design a little bit more.

I plan to angle the main Boom at about 20-30 deg.

To get any thing finished, i reworked the Seat of the Beast to be springloaded with 2 finally arrived Harley Davidson Seatsprings.

to use them i must insert 2 Angleiron‘s as Spacer.

4D3C0E55-5636-4CCC-9CD4-DF84F4470445.jpeg.54abf38a4a2c383f9c0cc0c36167a6be.jpeg

Than i welded them on and Slap little paint on the spacers, to get it back in its before finish.

This lifts the Seat at 8 cm up, but less than the Seat i tried before.

That become very Comfy and the spring rate seems to be very smooth.

Outside antenna maybe?  I'm guessing here.  I'm a retired mechanical engineer, not a sparkly.

Try wrapping the bulb with aluminum foil and a wire to ground...should eliminate any spurious transmissions ......  light included.

Sooo...just before getting home today, a tree takes out the power to our entire side of town.

So i get one of those geek moments and go for a ride just to see what my house looks like when the power is out.....so heres my house from about a 1/2 mile away with about 30 houses between.20210503_220410.jpg.d458bb12035c49262b04c0499be0892b.jpg

Norm, the cctv set up came from Amazon. Its a 4 camera system with wireless cameras, recorder and display for £290 all in.

So easy to install and set up.

I haven't gone back to doing the modification on my black Agri-Fab 17 cube trailer yet so it still sits in its well used stock form.

I pulled it down into the woods to bring a load of firewood out using the Charger Hydro after I installed a tab style stock hitch on it.

That's because any antennas use trees as the towers and I'm a wire antenna aficionado, random, dipole, yagi (my climbin' days are done! Hate to think of the linear feet of tower I've climbed in total!) I rig them with the weighted pulley setup and access them from the ground!

I pulled Norman out of winter’s nap.  The bed liner was removed, in favor of this turn over ball gooseneck hitch I found lying underneath.

Next step is to clean out my 2020 Silverado and put it up for sale.  Demand is high and I have plenty of wheels to get me around.  Don’t want the payment any more...
