Wow.  It doesn’t say where to get said Wheel Horse brand whiskey!  I don’t prefer whiskey, but would enjoy looking at a bottle on the shelf!

“Batch 1 of Wheel Horse Rye was released in December 2019 and was bottled at 101 proof.”

They put out their first batch recently.....

I wish I lived closer, I would go find them.

Currently working on a bottle of Maker’s Mark Wood Finishing Series.....

Very cool, but... that label color scheme is bordering on blasphemous for anything labeled Wheel Horse...

:D

I’m a beer guy but still (pardon the intended pun), gotta get me a bottle for the shelf...

I’d jump on that bandwagon... maybe a couple bottles.  One for the missus to try, one for shelf stock!

Imagine my joy to see this thread??  :occasion-xmas:  Rye Whiskey is the base to Rock & Rye and a little shot glass of R&R to cut the whiskey sounds like the perfect cocktail on any afternoon.

Actually, Rye Whiskey and Ginger Ale on ice is hard to beat in the summer.  Think I will call Binnies and see if they can stock some.

Thanks for the heads up Lane   :occasion-xmas:

But they probably heard of these wheel horses.  The pair near the wagon are the wheel horses.

I need some more info here, the song Whiskey River is way better on the original record, much faster and more upbeat .  The name of his nylon string classical guitar was called Trigger , the one that was used in that video. Notice the extra hole he made with his picking hand from many years of playing next to the sound hole in the body of the guitar.
