GT-14 Brush Guard

Recommended Posts

Bear G

I was thinking about putting this brush guard on my ‘69 GT-14. So much for thinking.. I don’t really care for it..
Original thought was it would look cool & help protect that exposed fuel tank.
.  Pretty sure I’m going to abort on this project.
Back to the drawing board..

Yes, I know, wrong hood decals for ‘69..

This hood is off a ‘70 I had.

yes i agree with you that,s its a bit much, what were you going to use the brush guard for ? the brush issues i had were quickly put down and removed with a 42" dozer blade. then i got after the pile with brush cutter and chain saw. then pushed it all away with blade. by the way that gt 14 looks well cared for , thank you for not letting it  fade away , pete

The Tuul Crib

How about blending it in as a place

or spot to hang weights?

A couple of KC daylighters and maybe a light bar and he'd be a proper redneck!

@Bear G, I’m honestly digging that guard.  Looks really tough like @pullstart said!

i kind of like it as a platform to bolt light bars and stuff on- if you're into that kind of thing. i don't think it looks very HD though- probably thin wall tube. as a decoration it's good but for winches and pushing stuff, i'd fab something instead...
