I have not had to look for tires for “Hot Wheels,” my 953 I picked up from one of our resident experts @953 nut... but they might not be the exact size you’d be looking for, as the wheels are from the automotive world... My dad purchased a set of implement tires for his 953 (basically the same as the 1054) a couple of years ago. His are listed in their catalog under implement tires and the size is 7.60-15. These are a “bar/lug” or AG (agricultural) tire. Since dad would use his tractor primarily for ground engaging implements, it is the type of tire he chose. If you desire a turf, there are some options at the above links. If you are not concerned about Garden Tractor specific, because they have standard 15” rims, auto tires work like what @pullstart has on his “HotWheels” I hope you find what you are looking for and don’t be a stranger around here!I 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

PeacemakerJack 10,671 #41 Posted September 9, 2019 Dad purchased and mounted those about two years ago. The tractor doesn’t get used a lot but they seems to work really well. They have about twice the lug depth of a standard GT AG tire which gives them a lot more bite. As far as wear characteristics, I would imagine that they would be pretty durable. They are designed for farm implements which tend to be much heavier than a 800-1000# GT and often are pulled on the asphalt at 15-20 mph. However, I can’t tell you how the rubber on these specific tires will look after 10 or 15 years. Unfortunately quality these days is hard to come by... AWESOME...is really the only word that comes to mind. Since the tractor isn’t at my house, I can’t measure for you at this time but I would say that they are 1-1.5” deep lugs. However, the pattern doesn’t make for a clunky ride when on solid surface. I definitely recommend them for any Big Wheel guy that wants a tractor look with lots of bite at a decent price. Oh yea...if you are prone to wrapping your fingers around the fender while driving, I wouldn’t recommend this size tire on your tractor Essentially, I feel that they look good from any angle. I've been known to do that but this one will be using rear fenders and toolbox from a 603 - ish horse.
