Looking for deck 312-8

Hi First post looking for a cutting deck for an early 90's 312-8

Serial number 3112K801  11877

 

How big of a deck can I use ? 

The original deck was a side discharge ? (42 I think ) 

In addition to the deck I need the assembly for the pulley assembly for the front of the tractor. 

 

Does anyone have a picture they can post of the correct deck ? 

Are these parts available new ?

Welcome to Red Square, you have found the right place for all things Wheel Horse.  I have a 48" deck on a 312-8 and it does a great job.  The pulley assembly that you need is called a mule drive.  You can do a search in the upper right corner for mule or 48" to see what you are looking for.

You shouldn't have any trouble finding one. With just a couple exceptions decks from 1973 to 2007 will work. I'm running a mid 70's 48" deck on my 2005 and the 05 42" deck is on my 76.

Will a rear discharge deck also work ?

yes rear discharge will fit, we all have our own preferences, i like the r/d , regular cleaning  and service adds years to service life, pete
