The farther you shove something up there, the snugger it gets. I’ll be fine

i guess I could bypass the mouth piece and stick the filter up there, bowl on the other end 🤔...... I’ll get back to ya

I got tired of using the trowel, not only because I didn’t need a hole that big, but some places I didn’t want to disturb surrounding plants. This allows me to disturb a much smaller area, and quicker.

Im still toying around with it, and would be happy to share and changes I make that work, but all I did was dremel a groove in it. I tried to taper the end for a bit smoother initial push, but I’m thinking of increasing the taper a bit.

Doing it this way is better than digging out or even just taking the trowel, folding back the dirt a bit, and sticking the cutting in the slit (which is what I tried before this). Since I back fill the hole with surrounding loose dirt, it lets the stem breath a bit, and the new roots don’t have to push through densely pack soil like if it were planted with a trowel or folded in.

Richard, what  led you to think I am an expert on enemas?

You guys do "crack me up".    Oops, scratch that.

I have been in the big North woods with no WiFi, but I am trying to get caught up.

I just got home and brought this guy with me.

Funny, we got a flock of them in the backyard many times. We can get pretty close to them.

Reminds me of something we use up on the farm. If I told you what for

you'd be crossing your legs.

But I'll plump for pincers as in pulling nails?

Hog ring pliers

Tile nippers

Castration tool

Nail puller

All good guesses, and I can see how it would work for all these tasks.  But...no cigars.

Four more guesses and you get a clue.

C'mon Cas, you can do this.

Can we get a close up shot of the teeth?

Im going to guess it has to do with taxidermy or possibly leather/hide work.
