Now I see that the little notch on edge is intentional. Thought it was damage.

One learns a lot with this silly little game.

Red Lion, Pa. has been referred to as the cigar capital of the USA with  several large production factories and over a hundred small operations in garages and basements.

The  House of Windsor Company in Windsor, Pa. is one of the lager factories.

BTW,  Mrs. K worked as a cedar wrapper in one of the factories for a short time in the mid 60s.  I smoked all the seconds that didn't pass inspection.

This little cigar box tool was used by and given to me by Mrs Ks Grandmother and is priceless as are the carpenters tools from her Grandfather.

It is just great to see these things saved and cherished. After all they are our heritage and tell the story of our ancestors. I too hold all that was passed on to me very dear, and used every opportunity to show and enlighten my children as to what they are and what they mean to me. Many of them I already passed them on to them, so now the grandchildren can learn and cherish them. Proudly in my son's home are now displayed tools made by my great grandfather, grandfather, father, and me.

Thank you and also Mrs. K for sharing them with us.

Also thank you to all the others that participated with their finds, a lot of learning has happened since this post started.

Ok, no torture devices here, just a plain pleasant woodworking tool(what else would I have?).

My version of tool. What is it and specifically what does it do?

Looks like it’s used to cut along curved wood, possibly ship/boat building, mill-working, or furniture building?

I got to start getting out the hard stuff. Too many woodworkers out there.

Care to provide tools actual name?

Funny, blade does look like some anti-kick back devices.

Yeah but you may not want to include the twisty Spike of death on the outside

I think I would use it to cut a hunk of Spam straight.  I just hate when the wife cuts the Spam at an angle.  :occasion-xmas:  You guys are going to fast for me to play with any seriousness.  :angry-tappingfoot:

Never mind. Include Spike. Can't raise wishi-washi children.

@LengerichKA88 disregard my no Spike idea

Me too for the most part but it's fun to read. Can't be serious all the time.
