I knew you would have some “kind words” to warm up the “frozen chosen” of the north country! Hey Mike—California? Really? It was a happy birthday! Have fun out there and bring some of that weather back to the nor’east when you return. Richie—turn on the BIG FAN and face it north please! 6 hours ago, ebinmaine said: Both of those are great ideas In my my past experience, Richie was a great WH host in FL! 19richie66 16,980 #35 Posted March 8, 2019 Been outside painting the house. Last week I got in my truck and it was 103* inside. 93* the day after. Yesterday it was 43 when I got to work with a high of 62. Crazy weather down here also. I sat down to drink some coffee a minute ago and heard my A/C kicked on. 1 2 2

It’s actually cold here for San Diego. After work I decided to take a walk down at Mission Beach. Won’t be taking a swim! No sun and air temp was 64 degrees...the Pacific Ocean was 58 🥶

With multiple recent weeks near zero degrees, the forecasted 40’s of next week will feel quite balmy to us. Guessing we will see some folks in shorts... Sunday afternoon at about 15 degrees I passed a guy dressed up in cold weather gear driving his Harley! Gotta love Wisconsin

19richie66 16,980 #46 Posted March 8, 2019 (edited) Love you too Jim! Yeah them hurricanes are no fun. In ‘04 when we got those four in a row, it was a mess. Every weekend, another hurricane. Just enough time between storms to go out and pick up shingles, spread more roof patch on the open spots and clean the yard.......just to get ready for the next round. Gotta love Wisconsin In ‘06/‘07, I rode my hard tail (struts) Shadow plenty of times in single digit temps. It was my goal to ride every month of the year, so if there was no snow or chance of melted runoff freezing, I rode. I made myself a steel seat pan that I could bring in to work and keep warm, and had a warm bed when I got home from night shift. PeacemakerJack 10,671 #48 Posted March 8, 2019 Kevin—you get the iron butt award for riding that thing or maybe the I’m 50 and can’t stand up straight award. However that is a cool looking scoot. I rode my Vulcan as much as I could back when I was in my 20’s. I know that like you I rode it at least once in every month mainly to say that I did Thanks for sharing the cool pics...
