How's your weather today? Spring isn't here in Maine yet. :-)

I thought it was cold at the house where it was -5 but now that I'm down in the valley off of the mountain it's -10.

Not quite t-shirt weather yet...:ROTF:

Its relatively balmy here this morning, although the last couple of days we had middle single digit air temp lows and some very windy conditions with 1 day with double digit below zero wind chill, and 1 day with single digit below zero wind chill.

balmy 13 in SWPA.

Seen half a dozen Robins in the yard two days ago if that is a sign.

They all died around here! Lows in the minus all week, highs barely in the teens...winter is getting quite old! The worst part is too cold to paint tractor parts!

Looking better for the weekend if one can believe the weatherperson...

Robins would have a hard time here with almost 2 feet of snow / ice mix and a lot of frost in the ground.

Yeah. We understand that all too well.

I would estimate in nearly all of our forest we have 25 to 35 inch of Base snow left with some pockets deeper.

Thank you to everyone who has been responding to this thread. It's fascinating to see the variances around the country.

Looking like after today the weather is going to start to warm up at least during the daytime.

More snow for us on Sunday morning but I'm hoping it changes to rain Sunday afternoon. We shall see.

:text-yeahthat:There’s my buddy from the Big Mouse country!  I knew you would have some “kind words” to warm up the “frozen chosen” of the north country!:angelic-halo:

Hey Mike—California? Really? It was a happy birthday!  Have fun out there and bring some of that weather back to the nor’east when you return.

Richie—turn on the BIG FAN and face it north please!:D
