I'm sitting in Oxford Maine in a restaurant parking lot for lunch break. Much much less snow here than at home in my Forest. Beautiful here in the sunshine. Maybe 45 degrees or so?

  Perfect chance to get a bit of seat time while picking up sticks and sawdust in the front yard from having a couple trees “whacked” last weekend.

Can’t do open fire pits in our area anymore so picked up propane unit on clearance.

 

Came out pretty nice...and my daughter added some rock cairns to go with the new seating area!

Sun. Clouds. Sun. Clouds. Got up to about 50 degrees or so today.

Spent some time priming the house today in preparation for paint. When the weather cooled down we switched over to getting Trina's 867 back up and running.

This is actually the latest snow by a day or two, that I can remember getting in the 19 years I've been here in Southern Maine.

I actually had to mow here yesterday - the work schedule and weather snap last fall resulted in not getting the usual routine of cleaning up the leaves and knocking the grass down really short for winter, so it was pretty long in some areas. Almost got up to 72*F yesterday, 74*F on Monday. This morning, heavy rains and 35*F with winds over 30mph. Tomorrow, more of the same and winds over 45mph.

Last few days has been pretty decent for a change, even with one day last week hitting right at 70*F, but that came with 45mph winds, again. Yesterday - windy, 53*F and lots of sun. The whole town was abuzz with mowers, trimmers, and blowers. Now, Sunday - 34*F and snowing like an idiot - almost 2" on the ground. 

 

I give up.

Yesterday it was just about 70° at our house in the afternoon. We got a lot done around the house and yard.

 

Today we went for a hike.

55 degrees and cloudy but it felt great compared to what we've been experiencing.

Mid 80s at noon and humid. Torrential down-poring rain and tornado warnings this afternoon while vacationing in St Augustine FL, but it is supposed to be clear and cool off a bit tomorrow.

We have tornado warnings till 3 AM. The high today was 68 but yesterday it was 74 and sunny here in Western Pa. I got a touch of sun burn on my nugget. 😆
