Robins and red birds everywhere will be 60 today. Getting the garden ready for planting in a couple of weeks.

General rule of thumb here is to plant your garden around May 24.

Memorial day weekend here.

There's exceptions of course.

Some plants are frost resistant better than others.

Been a wet and miserable week over here in the North of England. Daffodils are out though.

Was wondering that as I was reading... but figured he was busy working on a big move somehow...

Hey Mike—California? Really? It was a happy birthday!  Have fun out there and bring some of that weather back to the nor’east when you return.

Richie—turn on the BIG FAN and face it north please!:D

Both of those are great ideas

In my my past experience, Richie was a great WH host in FL!  I bet visiting him would be cheaper that trying to transport his heat!

Been outside painting the house. Last week I got in my truck and it was 103* inside. 93* the day after. Yesterday it was 43 when I got to work with a high of 62. Crazy weather down here also. I sat down to drink some coffee a minute ago and heard my A/C kicked on. :coffee:

It’s actually cold here for San Diego. After work I decided to take a walk down at Mission Beach. Won’t be taking a swim! No sun and air temp was 64 degrees...the Pacific Ocean was 58 🥶

Slight touch of frost this morning. But a least it's dry. Not for long though. Rain forecast for all afternoon and evening.

With multiple recent weeks near zero degrees, the forecasted 40’s of next week will feel quite balmy to us.  Guessing we will see some folks in shorts...

Sunday afternoon at about 15 degrees I passed a guy dressed up in cold weather gear driving his Harley! Gotta love Wiscons:Din

Love you too Jim! Yeah them hurricanes are no fun. In ‘04 when we got those four in a row, it was a mess. Every weekend, another hurricane. Just enough time between storms to go out and pick up shingles, spread more roof patch on the open spots and clean the yard.......just to get ready for the next round.

In ‘06/‘07, I rode my hard tail (struts) Shadow plenty of times in single digit temps.  It was my goal to ride every month of the year, so if there was no snow or chance of melted runoff freezing, I rode.  I made myself a steel seat pan that I could bring in to work and keep warm, and had a warm bed when I got home from night shift.

Kevin—you get the iron butt award for riding that thing or maybe the I’m 50 and can’t stand up straight award:confusion-scratchheadblue:. However that is a cool looking scoot.  I rode my Vulcan as much as I could back when I was in my 20’s.  I know that like you I rode it at least once in every month mainly to say that I did:D

Thanks for sharing the cool pics...
