Emory at hospital

Recommended Posts

dells68

Emory had a pretty bad seizure this morning.  We had to call 911.  We’re at the hospital getting him checked out now.  They are doing blood work,  CT scan and other tests.  Please keep him in your prayers.  Getting his tractor done is the least of my worries now.  I wanted to thank @oldredrider for a lot of help on the tractor yesterday.  He was among the first I let know what’s going on with Emory.  Thanks for being there for us everybody!

What gets me is that he’s the one in the hospital and he’s worried about my Dad and wants to get him a present to make him feel better!

Praying for Emory and your family Dells . He’s a brave, tough kid and him thinking of other peoples feelings first just shows what kind of young man he truly is .

He really is a tough little nut.  If anyone were my hero, it would be Emory.  He goes at everything with an extremely positive attitude.  He won’t let anything stop him from doing anything he sees someone else do.  I’m not nearly as tough as he is at his young age.

We just got out of the hospital.  They’ve started Emory on anticonvulsant meds and we have to go to UT after Christmas for an EEG and a visit with his neurologist.  This has been scary.  Thanks to everyone gone for your prayers and support.  Merry Christmas everybody!  I’m just happy to be taking my boy home!!

Was going to start with a new thread for cards for him to read while they were waiting but as always this little guy said who’s the boss and it’s going to have to wait until after Christmas. You’ve got this Emory !

Emory is a very special young man, I am so revealed to know he has responded to the new medication. I pray that you have a safe trip and a positive outcome from the doctors at UT.

Thank you everybody!  We got back to Dad’s around 4:00 this afternoon and Emory has slowly returned to himself.  He’s one tough little guy and was worried about Dad instead of himself.  Little guy, big heart.  I’ll be glad to get back to the doctors but am thankful to have the anticonvulsant medicine to help ward this off for now.  Worst, most helpless feeling I’ve ever had.  Thanks again and Merry Christmas everybody!

:text-yeahthat:  The worst pain a parent can feel.....having to see their child suffer.    Hang in there, prayers are answered.
