Do we have a source for complete generator lamp assemblies for '60's tractors?

I'm sure these are available on the popular auction site and other places but I don't know what to call it to try to find one.

In particular I have an 867 that I would like to get one for. I need the socket, lamp, lens, everything.

I'm not sure the CH model PL-20-RC will work. The socket required needs to have an insulated ground and I can't find one that uses a miniature base #57 bulb.

I'm sure Cole Hersee makes one but can't find it.

They have one that takes a #68 bulb which has double contacts but draws twice the amperage of the original #57 bulb so don't know if it would work the same. Likely be very dim.

Garry, the PL-20 RC has two insulated leads that do not come in contact with the shell of the light. It comes with a # 53 lamp but will accommodate a # 57 or # 1895 lamp.

Should I get a number 57 if I can find one at the parts store?

The # 53 that Cole Hersee supplies has one candle power and is bright enough to be seen in daylight. It is your money, if you feel like spending it on a #57 to get two candle power, go for it.   :ychain: The 1895 I have in one is also two candle power and I can't tell the difference unless you are in bright sunlight, can't see either one well then. Of course, the Gen. light on the 953 points upward, yours are pointing back toward you so it may make a difference.
