WVHillbilly520H 10,369 #30 Posted January 24, 2020 Installed the rear attach riser blocks and @richmondred01 the new angle lever I fabbed up (from your template you sent me, many thanks) along with the 56" moldboard and 5 position angle quadrant I acquired from a WH ZTR , the anti-sway bracket I made up a few years back... That's the ultra rare Flintstone model. VERY early production. I modified a 42" plow I bought about 15 years ago for my 867 by removing the triangle bellcrank and the 2 rods that control the angle release pin. I replaced all of that stuff with a simple choke/throttle type of cable. Works great! Did I mention, it's simple and cheap? #2. Several years ago, I was plowing my neighbor's cement drive when the blade got caught in an expansion joint and I just about flew over the steering wheel. (FYI; I like to plow in 3rd with the engine at about 3/4 throttle ). Luckly nothing was broken! To prevent that from happening again I relocated the lower spring anchor point in the frame closer to the blade's pivet point, thereby lessening the springs leverage over the force it takes to trip the blade.
