Going to go back in 2 weeks and grind everything up with the tiller.

I would suggest you go back and turn the field over another time going across what has been done then come back in a few months to do the tilling. Those long weeds will load up on the tiller if you don't give them time to break down.

Worked on the footrests for the 420 today. It seems on this model they painted the area black for the carriage bolts and the 3 holes where the pad bends up to the rear fender when it was built from what i can gather for info. The heads of the bolts where also painted black. Made a cardboard template to cover the red then sprayed the black. Last step will be to stick the new pads on.

I’d run it!  Talk about conversation starter, the extra carry space, plus when mowing you could toss a foil packet dinner on there and be ready to eat by the last blade clipping!

Bought a d series snow plow for my d-160. she needs a little work but over all its mostly there. Im super happy with it. it measures 56 inch across. it had a bend in it but i fixed it yesterday a 4x4 post and a 4lb sledge on the concrete slab. Boom straight again. I think i did good i drove 1 hr and paid $60. all i need is the big handle and rod. I sprayed it all down and got things loosen up yesterday. Im hoping to try and mount it today after work. unless it really gets to 100 today then i may wait till tommorow

Did you know Tony that if a dog at a dog show has a scar it can't be judged against it if it is an honorable one! :D

Thought I would show off the " character" I received a few days ago. Having character is even painful to look at.

A little trim right on the edge of the hood makes for a nice paint saver too Madge. I got a roll of it you want I send....

Been real busy with work and kids and cars lately, so I haven't been around much.

This weekend on Flea-Bay I found an 8-5551 hitch kit for $150 shipped, so I jumped on that and found it waiting when I got home, so the 800 got a front accessory bracket after dinner:

Thanks to @gwest_ca for pointing me in the direction of that bracket set with a part number some months ago.

I'm thinking the next step is getting two front tires that are the same size and hold air for more than a day.

I guess I am to blame since I let him operate it. He did tell me he plows city sidewalks in the winter time. I also let my 6 yr old nephew drive my tractors. Well now I know better. Not to worry though it has already been repaired. Lesson learned. Could have been much worse. Next time if any of you are interested in buying one of my tractors I am not going to let you test drive it !!!
