Sounds to me like you get a free zero turn if they don't return your :wh: unmolested...

That is inexcusable...

Might need an attorney. Start by writing down your own account of the transaction -- dates, calls, etc -- while it is fresh in your mind.

@Blue Chips  first thing I NOTICED , was the wide seal on that wheel bearing , ? for me thats an instant  , easy removal  clean out and regrease . think the use and abuse  that  these units regularly get , is worth  regularly getting  after . like lucas X HD  green chassis grease , also polyurea rated , stays with it , think that hood hood looks fine , stay at it , pete

I agree. If I can get to both sides of a rubber-sealed bearing, I can often pop both seals out and use my bearing packer to pump grease all the way through the bearing until the new grease comes out clean, as I'm doing in the photo below, and then re-install the seals. If I can only get to one side of a sealed bearing, I'll try to remove that seal and use a syringe like the one in the photo to pack grease into all of the spaces in and around the bearings and cage and then re-seal it. I'll look into the Lucas product you mentioned.

And here's the bearing with the seals re-installed:

Note: If I happen to be greasing a metal-shielded (non-contact shield) bearing with pressed-in shields, I leave the shields in place and try using my bearing packer, pumping the grease gun very slowly to avoid damage to the shields as the grease is slowly squeezed through the narrow gap between the metal shield and the inner race. If the metal shields are secured with C-clips, I can usually remove the C-clips and shields, grease the bearing, and then re-install the shields and C-clips.

Makes me wonder if it was in an employee's (or owner’s) garage.

IMHO. This is a THOROUGHLY UNACCEPTABLE situation and the BBB should be notified along with scathing reviews online. ...

AFTER your tractor is returned UNHARMED.

Dock removal day today.  Tapped Clyde, the C-197 for hauling duty.  Got 5/7 done.  I ran out of daylight and energy.

For @c-series don and @rjg854:

Clyde, the C-195 at work, hauling dock sections and at quitting time:

Hopefully, if everything goes according to plan I'll be able to drive my 854 shortly after school because all I've got to do to it is finish making the ignition wire, put the seat on, and put the left rear tire on. However, I know how things are and a 30 minute job will turn into three hours.

It is not a floating dock.  I'm using the Tommy Dock system of connecting brackets, poles and feet.

The dock sections are treated lumber.  They get floated out into place, then I assemble the poles and feet and set them to level.

It's good that you understand this early in life.

The area of the lake in the picture is not a no wake zone.  The weekenders on their jet skis make good use of it in hot weather.

Been pretty quiet since Labor Day.  Just a fully loaded pontoon (18'?) turning and burning for the last hurrah ride of the season last weekend.
