I take the little plunger out of the valve stem. That way when you hook the air up to it it gets a full blast. Once the bead is set put the little plunger back in and fill it with air.

What about the valve stem offset?  Is that pretty much standard?  How can I tell?  Is the tube from TSC any good (Traveler) ?  Does it have the correct offset for the 7" rear rim ?

Didn't work. 

 

I have a locking inflator too, with a ball valve to shut it off. (I took out the thingy inside the inflator tool just for that purpose).

And it gets PLENTY hot too!  Doesn't move as much air as my "Master" but yeah, should work OK.  The Master is good for continuous duty though so I might use that and not risk having a melted shorted out glob of plastic in my hands.

Modified the shifter on the 1257Heavy to clear the transmission plate and re did the exhaust to avoid the transmission plate brace.

Oh me either. But I always seem to rush most of my projects so I figured since this one started as a pile o parts I'd tske my time and do things in order haha. Getting all the little stuff and the fabrication stuff done then can put the metal on it I did toss the metal on her a few weeks back to make sure all there and fit! Did look pretty mean!

I'm gonna wait until the weather is hot and sticky and let them bake in the Sun (I don't NEED them right away, the old ones are still on and holding air) to soften them up some.  Maybe pop one side off the rim and wedge some 2x4 blocks to spread them and let them cook in the sun for a while.

 

I GOT 'EM!  I found my other two ratchet straps and decided before taking off one of the beads and stuffing 2x4 in to spread them, heating them up... that I would try again with the ratchet straps.

 

Still took a bit of finagling, but the three straps spread the sides just far enough that I was able to get them to take air.

 

Now I have to repaint the damage the tire monkeys did, but such is life.  They could have used a third coat anyway!

 

So now on to the deck repairs...

a tire shop should have had an expandable / pneumatic strap to help seat the beads

Took a second pulley off one of my RJ’s that I usually have a CBR/32 front cutter bar on. Put a new drive belt on as the old one was stretched out.  Also changed transmission fluid in the RJ and put my RJ belt guard back on !

   My C-121, Aka The Black Horse, Hasn't been run for some time. Today I thought I'd give it a run out. Turned on the fuel. Couple of squeezes of the primer bulb. Pulled the choke out. Turned the key and it fired up straight away. Not bad!

 

  I then  took it for a run down the bridleway. Ran along like a good 'un.

I got around to fixing the wobbly steering wheel on the 520. We were going to fix it last year but my friend caught covid back in December. We worked on it to day. here is the pictures after we finished.

Here are a couple of pictures. Still need to paint the new attachment.

Can't tell from your picture, but the plow size is measured by how wide of dirt is turned over in one pass.

Threaded adapter pinned onto the shaft as normal and the wheel secured with a nut?

My 518H was very bad, but this was the donor fir the power steering conversion I did, so I lost the wheel.

 

Yours looks like a very good solution.

It LOOKS like an 8”, but pictures can be deceiving.  With it laying on the ground that way, measure up to the point In red.  That’ll tell you the size.  I don’t believe the coulter Wheel size matters, it just puts a slice in the ground before turning it over.  Many times (most all times) I run without one.
