Ed Kennell 35,907 #1 Posted March 12, 2017 (edited) I made the 6 hour round trip to Somerset Co. Pa this weekend to pick up supplies in case Stella has me snowed in for a week. My favorite Nephew makes the best cabin fever medication available. One Strawberry and one Peach flavored 185 proof. It also happened to be my Mothers 91st birthday party. With her Great, and Great, Great Grand Daughters. This trip also takes me thru Adams Country apple country. Look familiar ? WHX?? 46,902 #16 Posted March 13, 2017 (edited) We just got the tail end of ole Stella so got a little dusting just not quite enough to bust out the heavy artillery. 1-2 in but they called for 4-6 Would had to be the 4-6 for me to get any seat time! Girls were in hot standby tho! The good news Jeff is that @shynon took in a homeless 520 that had that back frame bracket on it I need to get a two stage up for next year! So I still got dibs on that anti sway bracket you have! Edited March 13, 2017 by WHX9

WHX?? 46,902 #18 Posted March 14, 2017 Put it in a flat rate or post it and just send it Jeff and let me know what I owe ya. What with Tom's @Shynon score this is gonna get top priority in the barn. If I don't get right at it now I know am gonna procrastinate! All I might need to do is some refresh, some hardware and fab a lift rod.

mmmmmdonuts 274 #22 Posted March 14, 2017 All prepared for Stella but I keep watching the expected totals climb higher each hour it seems. Even yesterday afternoon it was 8-14. Now I sit in this 25-30" band.
varosd 1,185 #23 Posted March 14, 2017 Well, Stella is here in south central PA prior to this last (maybe) storm we had a total of 6'' this year coming down fast and furious I'm to blame, I had taken of the the blade from the 416. but the frame, weights, chains were still on spent Sunday putting the blower, weights and chains on the 520.
ericj 1,576 #24 Posted March 14, 2017 I'm to blame, I had taken of the the blade from the 416. but the frame, weights, chains were still on spent Sunday putting the blower, weights and chains on the 520. it's all 100% your fault Don, I told you not do take them off yet put the new light on the cab of the 520 with 2 stage blower and put the cab on another 520 with a single stage blower. plus I have a new toro 1028 walk behind I bought last year. I think I'M ready. it's sleeting pretty hard right now and for the last several hours, waiting for it to change back to snow to go get started. have more then 6" from the looks of it , haven't ventured out yet though eric j
