Opened up CL last night just to get a good laugh at the sudden price increase in snowblowers locally and boy people didn't dissapoint!  Last week's mid $200 machines somehow went and became $400 machines! LOL

After being tickled for a bit by people's opportunistic ways, I refreshed the page before closing it (never know) and JACKPOT! A new listing shows up for a "70's Wheel Horse Snowblower"! I read the ad and it was obvious this fella needed some money quickly.

*Side note* : If you don't want lowball offers, don't   put "I'd like $160 but make me an offer, need to move it quickly" in the title. :icecream:

So I sent the fella a message offering $100 cash if it has compression and spark and got an almost immediate "Sure does. Just needs a fuel line and it's all yours."

WOOOOHOOOO! Went and picked her up and it's way better than I thought! Has the WH enclosure and everything! True to his word, I swapped the fuel line, drained the gas, changed the earl, popped in a new plug, and first pull humming!

Come to the conclusion it's a 74' Trailblazer 7 - two stage with the Tecumseh 7hp (by Lauson) motor. I'm STOKED!! I' haven't moved snow with it yet but everything appears 100% operational and mechanically sound. I'll be taking the enclosure up to the nice Asian lady (who does some fine upholstery work) to get new plastics and a couple patches done. I have NO idea what these go for, but I'm fairly sure $100 isn't putting me on the short end! Don't matter because she's not going anywhere.

Any input, advice, suggestions, tips, etc.. are more than welcome! Thanks!

I've had my eye on that for awhile, but didn't pull the trigger for any number of reasons, not to mention I already have 2 and a 1/2, but no cab on them. I just checked and the guy never pulled the ad yet. good pick up

IMG_6160.MOV I’m selling my B100 with 10hp Kohler engine and snowblower. The engine ran when I brought it home 3 years ago and deck ran smoothly. The 8sp gear box will need oil changed. I didn’t make headway and need the room for other projects.

JD LX-178 with Kawasaki 2 cyl water cooled engine.
Great shape except for the front hood.  Cracks have been patched, and hinges on the hood itself are broken.  Hood sits fine, just does not open & close properly
      NO DECK!
Includes (4) John Deere suitcase weights, a John Deere "maintenance kit", and rear chains.

Well maintained.  Snow blower presently not mounted.

      Hello!

I am looking for any and all snowthrowers that will work on my GT2500. I am trying to find one off FB marketplace but no one ever really posts the model number. Usually just the length. So I look for 42'' throwers but I don't know what will fit. A local seller has this for sale:

He says its 42 but unaware the model, the Wheelhorse logo looks to be from the late 60's/early 70's? It looks like the below thrower:

My question is if that thrower year/model will fit the GT2500. It looks pretty dang simple but I'm not sure. Someone mentioned something about the right size "Quick-hitch" in another post.

Lets make a deal. The whole collection for $3000 or one tractor and half the items listed below for $1500.
I am moving to town so am willing to do a partial trade for a wheelhorse more approproiate for a suburban lot- lawn ranger, surburban models, bcs walking tractor, other?
I could possibly deliver or meet half-way or ship.

Both tractors run great and are in good working order. Second owner of both machines. I work with these machines everyday so they are not perfect but are, in my opinion, in excellent shape.
      42in high-shoot snow blower
      42 in rear discharge deck
      Snow blade
Front mount deck hanger with 42in side discharge deck
      30in lawn seeder
Brinly single bottom plow with cleavis or sleeve hitch
      50in grader blade
      Extra transmission
      36in rear tiller - leaks a little
Full set of tire chains for each tractor
      Various body pieces
7.5 cubic ft pull behind cart - may need tires
      Extra set of rims
All required belts, pullys, brackets, manuals, too much to list.
