Lane Ranger 12,005 #9 Posted Wednesday at 04:21 PM (edited) My 701 an oldie but goodie! I have told this story about this tractor before! I went to a collector’s place who had six 701 tractors. I told him i wanted a medium priced one! Ha. He had them apart in boxes and two show tractors. This was in mid range and ran! This tractor was traded back and forth at least three times between the same two collectors. It had a chrome dash ( made from 703 dash but not plastic) , stainless steel door hinge on end of hood, Hein Werner lift set up i installed, backrest, halogen headlights that i installed and it really is my favorite ❤️ tractor. squonk 47,158 #13 Posted Wednesday at 08:24 PM Here's the 701 I had. Sold it in 2019. For some reason this tractor gave me more fits than any tractor I ever owned. The best one was when it was running perfectly at the Steam Pageant and I was at the farthest away from my spot and it just died. Had to push it a couple of miles! The float broke into several pieces! 2
