Swap Day

I do not change attachments any more to much bending reaching lifting etc.  So today it was time to swap out the snow horses for the grass horses. Sweepster came down yesterday, no wind, got some the TWP road out of the yard and back on the road also the driveway, have some more to do but too windy today.

Storage shed is in the distance up the hill.

@pfrederi Is that a C-48 or a C-60 Sweepster Broom ? It looks bigger than my C-48. Also I’d like to see better pictures of your caster wheels on the broom, mine doesn’t have any and I’d like to add some to maybe do a little de-thatching of my lawn.

I will take some pics in the morning I find the casters to be a necessity I have tried different set ups  The pneumatic tires failed (Cheap Chinese tires )

Some pics Angle iron and sq tube 3/4 rod welded to a square plate that you can bolt the caster to.

I had pneumatic tires but the kept going flat or ruptured the side walls.  Using old deck wheels now.  They sink in more when it is soft but at least they hold up.

I live on a hill and have near constant breeze my annual sweep the rocks back on to the road should take an hour or so but usual spread over a couple days waiting for the wind to die or be in the right direction even so the thatch it picks up blows all over mostly back on me.

 

It is 48"wide

 

The electric lift is glacially slow
