Recommended Posts

Ordered a new belt for the 520h that I had been working on but it seems a tad to long to me. Here is pics of new belt vs old belt. What y’all think run it or not? Im thinking not.

I had the same issue and the last one I used was from a C175 (#7473) B79 or 82 inch.

That new belt appears to be much wider than the old one?

Old belt was worn enough to sink down in the pulley.

What year is that tractor. Probably doesn't make a difference but a 1990 model takes a Toro 114895 that crosses to the 5L7830. Any #'s on the old belt?

@squonk That is the number (114895) I used to order this belt. No legible writing on old belt but it seems to be shorter when you hold them together in one hand and stretch them out.

@Ed Kennell It seems to be same width across the top but it is thicker from top to bottom if that makes sense.

It is indeed a 90 model.

Go to Tractor Supply and get a 5L820 and a 5L810. Use the one that fits best and return the other and you'll be fine. It's a Hydro so you don't have to worry about clutching.
