sqrlgtr 2,318 #1 Posted yesterday at 07:29 PM Ordered a new belt for the 520h that I had been working on but it seems a tad to long to me. Here is pics of new belt vs old belt. What y’all think run it or not? Im thinking not.
JoeM 9,680 #2 Posted yesterday at 08:16 PM I had the same issue and the last one I used was from a C175 (#7473) B79 or 82 inch.
Ed Kennell 45,324 #3 Posted yesterday at 08:31 PM That new belt appears to be much wider than the old one?

Probably doesn't make a difference but a 1990 model takes a Toro 114895 that crosses to the 5L7830. Any #'s on the old belt?

No legible writing on old belt but it seems to be shorter when you hold them together in one hand and stretch them out. 35 minutes ago, Ed Kennell said: That new belt appears to be much wider than the old one? @Ed Kennell It seems to be same width across the top but it is thicker from top to bottom if that makes sense. It is indeed a 90 model. Edited yesterday at 09:06 PM by sqrlgtr
squonk 45,816 #7 Posted yesterday at 09:12 PM Go to Tractor Supply and get a 5L820 and a 5L810. Use the one that fits best and return the other and you'll be fine. It's a Hydro so you don't have to worry about clutching. 2 2

Same size as white colored belt but has B80K in front of 5L830 while the white belt has B80LG in front of 5L830LG both 5/8x83”?????? Any way hope this may help someone in future. Looks close to idler pulley but has more clearance than the belt I took off of it and an inch shorter would just not go on.

Technically that belt should have been identical to the one you already had. Either it was stamped wrong or just a crappy belt mauufacturer
