WHX??

We got just hammered. Yesterday not a flake to be had but totally different landscape today. Most major roads and all side roads shut down. I just layed in a wood supply and holed up in the shop.

Worst part it was that wet stuff and turned to ice right away. Went thru 1 1/2 tanks of gas in the deuce. Never even fired the single up.  I did a crappy job too hoping this won't stick around.

Pics in the morning.

Up here we lost most of the snow we had this year in the 70 degree day last Tuesday. We had 2-3 inches yesterday from the storm on Friday but it was mostly gone by today. After the teaser on Tuesday I'm ready for Spring.

61* F right now but dropping into the 20s tonight with 70 mph winds.     And I'm headed for the Delaware Bay beach house.   Hope I have a roof when I get home.

As @WHX?? stated we had some light snow flurries here in Wisconsin the last couple days.

It stopped snowing late Sunday afternoon. I went out & cleared that 8" or so of wet mess up before calling it a day. :thumbs2: Woke up this morning to white out conditions again. :greetings-clappingyellow::unsure:

Todays mess.

Waiting for the snow to let up before I go tackle todays job. Probably won't do much good though. The wind is supposed to hold in the mid to upper 20mph range for a while.

The model pre-dates the :wh:. The year maybe not so much. You know how I like my antique equipment. Had to get a special permit to run this machine. That permit is about to expire & I don't really have much interest in renewing it,

You guys hear anything about the big fire at the GB paper plant? Flames in the air from far away. Ash and embers in the sky mixing with the snow. Pretty impressive!

There's a storm chaser who has been stuck almost all day on some less traveled road near Trenary  Michigan. I sure do hope somebody is trying to get to him.

In the occasions like this when they need to limit bridge crossing, it’s easier for a guy like me to swing by Uncle Jim’s on the way to Trenary, MI.

I’m sure some truck guy who likes beer will be by shortly to give him a tug, or at least a lift to the local watering hole.  Reference to New In Town.

We missed having a blizzard by a few degrees, probably got 6 to8 inches of rain and heavy winds all night. Tonight it is well below freezing but only light fluffy snow so far.
