Just put on a neon yellow vest and hard hat If anyone asks? You tell them simply " budget cutbacks" Good idea , keep a look out for my pic at the post office if it doesn’t work out 1
ebinmaine 75,123 #78 Posted November 23 I flipped the cutting edge on one plow this weekend. I plan on using this one for the scooper. For now it rests nearby my '75 C160 Automatic.
Handy Don 14,918 #81 Posted Friday at 11:42 PM (edited) Quite unexpectedly, we had a couple of very heavy snow showers blast through this afternoon where I’m visiting my daughter and SIL south of Lowell MA. Way too warm for sticking but it looked very pretty and left my car very wet! Edited Friday at 11:48 PM by Handy Don

peter lena 9,525 #83 Posted Saturday at 01:13 AM @nylyon just put on a new set of flat rubber bar snow chains , picked up 2 welded rings for spring pull point , and some springs at tractor supply , very tight set up , used a slim tapered bar as a spring hold / slider , let me plow and not damage any related driveways , pete

I'm choosing to leave them firmly bolted in place for now. Likely look at bracing options tomorrow. 1

Top hole slotted arc to allow the side panels to float with the terrain. Washers (or plates?) and pins for easy removal. My concern is the attachment point where they bolt to the plow. I'm thinking about getting a corner brace from approximately 12" out from the plow and brace making a triangle 🔺️. Simple strap steel. The terrain float isn't likely to be a huge issue. Our driveway surface is pretty flat.

Lane Ranger 11,646 #90 Posted 50 minutes ago We got about four inches Saturday and Sunday in two different snowfalls. Melted a bit on Sunday. More snow expected this evening and tomorrow morning. So i had a bobboo event where i cliped a concrete curb with the B-80 snowplow Saturday. i had this happen once before and knew what to do. I never fully understood how the snowplow springs work until the first time i did this . The spring actually has the top and bottom screw into the spring to hold in place. You can see in these pictures. Very easy to correct by screwing the detached piece back in the spring and reattaching on the horizontal rods with ins.
peter lena 9,525 #91 Posted 38 minutes ago @c-series don like your fleet , ever slicken up that plow blade ? really lets me back plow easily , for more sun areas melting . then the sun puts it in the corner drains , used mineral oil and also PAM food spray , pete
