c-series don 9,727 #6 Posted May 20 I have the exact same rake, but mine has the weight box. They work great! I actually found mine in the scrap metal pile at the landfill many years ago. It was literally like brand new, with only about a half inch of the paint missing off the bottom of the tines. A friend asked if he could borrow it and I really didn’t need it, so I said he could keep it as long as he wanted if he kept it in his barn. Well it turned out that he unfortunately left it outside for years and it rusted pretty badly. I then took it back and now have it under a cover. Seeing yours makes me want to paint mine!!

squonk 43,276 #9 Posted May 20 I've had a couple of those rakes with the drop down blade. They go for good money.

gt14rider 917 #11 Posted May 20 @c-series don Thank you, I appreciate it, not a lot of info on these old rakes. @squonk the blade is there, painted black
c-series don 9,727 #12 Posted May 21 @gt14rider Here’s some pictures of my rusty rake! The link you mentioned is 2-1/2” center to center on the bolts. Mine never had the flip down edge. I used to have the 8’- 3pt hitch version that had the flip down edge that worked pretty well. 1
gt14rider 917 #13 Posted May 21 Thank you, that's what I was looking for. That weight box looks easy enuff to make. Was the box painted ? If so what color. How much weight do you use. Thanks again I'll try not to ask any more questions.
