@Ed Kennell I kinda have to agree about repurposing the blade frame. Here is a better picture maybe

Before I even saw what you wrote my first thought was “I don’t think that came with a cigarette lighter!” I don’t even think it was an option by then.I didn’t think mine had one but I had to go look, and while I was at it I snapped a few pictures. And yes that’s definitely the correct hood stand.

I actually have a 500 frame here in NY that is looking for new home.

Don, if no one else speaks up for that frame feel free to drag it to Massachusetts or Maine sometime. I'd use it for fabbing up something.

314H should have the best Eaton 1100 tranny.

Ok, so I won’t scrap the frame.

The 518-H had the Eaton 700. Long story short, the engine, hoodstand, seat, and most tins of this tractor got moved onto a 520-H chassis-only roller (swept, reduction, 1100--a much better setup) that is now my son and daughter’s camp tractor (enhanced with two hydraulic remote circuits off the 1100, front lift, and a flail mower!).

The 700 pump/motor and some linkages I donated a year or so ago to another member who planned to use/rebuild it. The axle, differential, brake, etc. are still here. I’m considering taking the axles and differential and brake drum (more easily stored) and scrapping the rest.
