Stevebo’s Meet and Greet 2023

All,

I know some have been reaching out concerning dates for my annual meet and greet. I am sorry to say that this year I am not planning to host my annual meet and greet. I just have too much going on this fall to plan and host it. I will certainly miss seeing many of you. 
Hopefully someone else is willing to host an event this fall.

If some folks are interested in a Meet n Greet in Athol Massachusetts I could put out some feelers to the property owners.

I have access to a beautiful lakeside field/gathering area in Athol Massachusetts. Tons of space. Parking lot.  No-hookup camping. 

Fishing. Swimming. Volleyball. Fire pits. 

 

Great central location.

For some reason they all start out small and grow every year if you can do it every year because people see the pics and hear about it more and more.

Wonderful past hospitality and generosity --  I made one gathering a couple years ago -- awesome barn and collection -- and terrific chats with the herd enthusiasts  !!!!!!!!!!!!

  I for one am glad Steve’s meet/greet is cancelled…I go almost every year and have NEVER won the raffle tractor…I’m sure it was “fixed”

So sorry to hear but totally understand Steve. Thanks for the great memories.  Hopefully you can do it sometime in the future as your place is an amazing stage to hold the event.

Looks like I won't be able to offer any facilities after all. 

It'll be closed up for the season by then.

Didn't you CT boys used to have one at a fireman's park?

There was one at king street fire department in Danbury for two years however those members have not had it in a few years

That was a perfect venue too

 

I'll have a Meet & Greet on Sat. Oct 7 starting 6:30 am to Sunday afternoon.

544 Amston Rd Colchester CT

Plenty of on site parking, overnight camping starting Fri. Oct 6, Plenty of room to cruise tractors around so bring your tractors, food available, plenty to see and do the entire day.

Why wouldn't a group want to meet at a venue like that? It has ALL the amenities needed and doubtful anyone could be bored. Kid and family friendly too. Available every year and it can accommodate any amount that show up. Free camping for long haulers too

We could all set up down in the back by the tractor pull bleachers. If we start getting a basic count of interested parties I can ask them for a specific Wheel Horse gathering area.

When @JCM and our crew went back in May and met up with several Redsquare folks, it was BUSY at the Zagray grounds. So much so that the organizers very nearly ran out of space to use on that massive property.  

That was great 👍 for them!

 

That would have its ups and downs only because I'd want to focus on Wheelhorses in particular but there's SOOOOO much more to see there.

 If we were to all meet up, congregate and hang out in the same place then that's kind of what happens. Maybe we can get a designated area down in the back. Basically it would be the same thing as if it's at someone's house but with the added benefits of a huge engine show in the background, infastructure and better accommodations for anyone wanting to camp. 

There are always a couple / few WH guys cruising around there too that I'm sure would join in and maybe we catch some stragglers walking around that don't even know they are WH guys yet.

A huge 25+ parade of WH cruising around would be cool too.

People can buy and sell as much as they want.

 

Organizing a yearly thing at that place in Athol would be good too

Guys,

Lou and Brian who hosted the firehouse meet and greet have been busy with other stuff so I don’t believe they are on here much.
