@JPWH Jay it was good to see you at the Big Show !!!

James and I stopped several times on the way home (gas/bojangles/bathroombreak), and it took 7&1/2 hours to get to my house from South Mountain Fairgrounds. After getting my stuff unloaded, James got home not long after at 5:10pm

Just gassed up 20 miles north of Charlotte, NC. About 2 1/2 hours to go for the first leg of the journey. Everything going well. One 854 in the pickup, the other three and 2 rollers for 953nut, and the roadapples tub cart on the trailer. Tomorrow I will continue for 3 hours to get home.

Safe travels to all.

Been home about 3 hours the rest of our trip in and out of showers, but by the time we got home it was decent in order to get unloaded.

We've had partly cloudy weather and about 82°. I was hoping for light rain to keep the trailer tires cooler but had to slow down instead. Slow and steady is the plan

Just gassed up, last time for this trip. Another 1 1/2 hrs to home.

Rear air lift was 50 psi going to the show. 80 psi from the show. 40 psi for final leg of trip.

You and your grandson are TRUE “iron bottom” haulers. Glad you made it safely. My 4 ½ hour drive seems piddly in comparison.

I especially enjoyed meeting in person after having exchanged messages, calls, and parts for the past couple of years.

Nice seeing you again Jay. Return trip was uneventful. Ice and Dorito stop. Chinese Buffet in Shamokin Dam. The renaming of Rt. 147 in Northumberland to Rt. 405 and cruising down the big hill in Watkins glen with the Big 5.3 and 6 spd in grade brake mode and not a bit of brake smell at the bottom! :)

@Lane Ranger, is that your trailer or someone else's? I remember you having a Detro aluminum trailer that was either about a 5 X 10 or maybe a 6 X 10.  I see this trailer is also aluminum but with a wood floor, where as the one I recall had an aluminum floor. If it is yours, you have a lot more loading capacity than you formerly possessed. If it is yours, have you increased the size of the truck that pulls it as well?

DJ Harrison’s Murphy Trailer.  Real nice for hauling Wheel Horses.

Yes my Toyota Tacoma is now my mom’s and my F-150 with the twin turbo V-6 can haul a good load.

we had a much heavier load on the way out with the 1940 Sears Handyman bought by a guy in Pennsylvania and hauled from Lorida, Florida by Rodney Burger.
