OK..... would not a straight section be easier to strike with a mallet??

But -  thumbs up for finding a low cost solution - 2 thumbs up because one tool does both styles - always a huge plus...:handgestures-thumbupright::handgestures-thumbupright:

Sure as heck would but I had to buy 10 ft to get a straight stick so I picked up the type of corner that had the least amount of bend and the most straight section in it.

@ebinmaine  often look around for anything that will help me out on a problem , absolutely  doe s not have to be related to the problem, that electrical grade plumbing comes in many stages . think that size to size seal face off is a great start , adding to that is a no brainer . dare I say it ?  think out of the box  , pete

Eric, if you heat that pvc with a heat gun slowly it will want to straighten back to its original shape. We used to do that when we needed an angle in-between the factory bends. Don't heat the ends just the bend slowley, you really don't have to help it , bend wants to go back straight. Bob

:text-yeahthat:              Glad to know I'm not the only one who's wife thinks her whims are my wishes therefore I can be expected to do her bidding without being asked.       :hide:

Oh yeah. I'd try that.

I absolutely love the fact that the life I lead is so simplistic.

I seriously do not have a honey do list.

Each of us has a certain amount of chores that one does more often than the other.

I like to kid with people about the laundry and cooking. She bought a new washing machine several years ago. I'm fairly sure I've never used it.

I do put the laundry away though so it works out.

Cooking? Maybe 1%....

The ONLY time I get called beckoned requested asked to do fix repair remove anything is when her physical size and strength is a limitation.

I can reach things at least a foot higher than Trina can but she wouldn't hesitate half a heartbeat to go find a ladder or step stool.

Lots of folks wouldn't even consider lifting their own body weight but I've seen her do it multiple times. On a good day I can lift more than she does...

Big stuff. We team up. We pick t'ings up. We puut dem down.

Overall we do alright although how she puts up with me I'll never know.......

For about the same price as 10’.  They are selling convenience for the price of materials.  :handgestures-thumbupright:

Kevin, :confusion-shrug:  the short pieces are just right for people who don't have a truck and don't know how to tie off a slippery 10' piece of PVC to a compact sedan.   :eusa-doh:

I don't know why you would buy short pieces of PVC, do a little dumpster diving at any plumbing shop and you will find cut-offs of every size.
