I have my late father's 1965 Wheelhorse 10hp model 1045 with mower deck and dozer blade that I would like to get to a good home. My Dad was working on getting it running again shortly before he died. It's going to new new rear tires and the transmission seems to be stuck after sitting so long, but it does come with some extra gears for the manual transmission along with an extra housing. The 1045 did sell today to a friend in Knoxville for $475. He has an auto body shop and loves old equipemt, so I have every confidence it will get restored. My thanks to those of you who inquired. --Dave Q

Member introduction and life of a Commando 7 in Sweden
isak_svart posted a topic in Euro Introductions
Hi all! I'm a new member from Sweden taken the first ride of the year just yesterday. I have a Commando 7 which I am upgrading in a very slow pace to a Commando 8 buying one piece at the time as they pop up. I've just finished a transmission overhaul, replacing wheel axles, seals and bearings. Thanks to Terry M for supplying the axles, I could not have found them in Europe. Currently the seat is at the upholsterers. I've got a seat cover with slight damages from Fun Engineer, thank you very much. The cover will be used as is or as a template, it is not decided yet. Also, I have new bolted front wheels laying around waiting for mounting, that might be the next thing done to this horse. Best regards, Johan- 19 replies

Hi. I just bought a 1989 520h (my first tractor) and am attaching the snow blade for the first time. My tractor has the rear axle attachment brackets. That seemed straight forward. My question may be a silly one but the only other attachment point is to the Tbar/lift bar that the hydro operates...right? I attached mine to a little hole just next to where the lift chain attaches to the Tbar/lift bar. Also, can the force of pushing the snow around damage/bend the Tbar and hamper operation of the mower deck when reattached? Lastly, as I have it attached now, when in the lifted position the bottom edge of my blade is only a few inches off the ground....is that correct, or should it lift higher? Thanks in advance for the help. Like I said first tractor, and new user of this site. Tom
