Do you have a rebuildable original?

There's a company in MA that sells good kits.

I recently purchased for my K17 twin a Kohler OEM fuel pump from my local lawn service shop ----- who was formerly WH dealer - - they still access Kohler OEM distributer  - - so i assume a local dealer near you would also be able to order a M12 Kohler OEM pump ?? Did you ask locally ?

I also recently purchased from same local service dealer a Kawasaki "pulse" pump to go on a 314h with M14 motor that seems to be working well  -- was recommended by a RSq member who had used them.

I make these mounting plates and use Kawasaki pulse pumps.  Use Kawasaki PN 490400803.  Works well

@ebinmaine, no, unfortunately I do not, when purchased from previous owner it had the same junk that I just returned to amazon. Thank you!

@Brockport Bill, I was literally just on the phone with @c-series don telling him that I am going to call around with local shops. Thank you!

@Brockport Bill and @Bill D, so does the Kawasaki fuel pump draw the pulse from the crankcase? I see the cover plate has a 90º hose barb on it. Does the pulse hose connect to this? I will research the Kawasaki PN. Thank you both!

Yes, the pulse line connects to that hose barb.

@Brockport Bill, @c-series don, So I took you all's advice and called around. My first call was to my local JD dealer, inquiring about a Kohler fuel pump. He was not able to help me, but gave me a phone number to a local shop, Dave's Lawn and Garden Service. Dave was super helpful and said if my old fuel pump was supplying blurps of fuel when cranking, it should be fine. So, when I get home (in VA Beach visiting my daughter's family for Memorial Day weekend), I am going to reinstall the old fuel pump and see if I can get it running. If I can, it's going to go to urgent care at Dave's Lawn service to check out the electrical system, as he said that could be a cause, which I thought of as well, just don't have the knowledge to diagnose that issue. So hoping that I did not damage the internals by trying to use starting fluid to get it running with the other pump. Always an adventure...
