It’s nice to see that one survived intact with all the tools in it. Very few survive that way. Complete it tells a lot about its user. Great of you to keep it that way. Mickwhitt 3,351 #9 Posted 23 hours ago We are currently watching the third Test match between England and New Zealand. Thats cricket you chaps, none of your baseball malarkey. Any road up, I was inspired to Google cricket bat manufacture and watched an interesting "How do they do that" video about it. The wood is grown in England and shipped to India where it is made into bats. Guys work by hand with Adzes to get the basic shape, then use a two man plane to refine it. Not a work bench or vice in sight! Just guys sitting on the floor holding the wood with their feet and using sharp tools to fashion the bats. Oh, then they are shipped back to England. Watch on youbtube, it's fascinating.
