I think the frosted like Craig's looks best.

I thought the frosted might block too much light. Havta ask @jeremi3210 now I sold the tractor to him and sent the lens with it.

Hey Craig how'd you get my loader back? I was  just workin it last nite!

Unfortunately, for me, it’s just a good memory. I hope you’re still having fun with it.

That’s what I thought too when I chose the frosted over the clear. The original lenses or sort of in between I think. They have some texture on the inside that sort of blocks the view of the bulb and I think the frosted sort of mimics that.

Yep. You can get 12, 24, or 36. Your choice. Its just like tapping transformer windings to get different outputs.

For a very limited load that will work.  however a bigger load will unbalance the batteries.  Example military vehicles run 24v  People tap one battery to run 12v accessorizes.  Limited to a phone charger or other low draw OK but bigger draw and you start having issues the batteries do not charge up evenly...

Got it.

I’m gonna need to bone up on this battery voltage amp DC balance draw stuff… :techie-studyinggray:

Yes, I know - I fixed them. Put in new bulbs all around. I had to shorten the hood support rope to keep the connectors from  pulling apart. The older rope on that bar is the original one, and probably could be used again. The front bulbs are 1156 tail light bulbs. You can get LED bulbs now to fit those sockets.

I’d like to order one. All black with frosted lens. Couldn’t figure out which one that would be from your Etsy menu choices… I use satin black Rustoleum…

Pm me and give me the details…

Message sent Sylvie!

Took advantage of warm day and put coat of black on the hood. Also made the headlight cover look right with black separation…

Thanks!

It’s actually fiberglass and is slightly taller, wider and the sides come down a bit more compared to regular metal Black Hoods…

I think the design is intended to keep more snow/rain out due to the electronics, batteries etc…

More done today…

Seat pan is now solid and works great! Created a “sandwich”

of PVC board above and below the seat pan. Very rigid now…

Fabricated a guard for the exposed wires on clutch side of the motor. I think there must have been something there new, but long gone…used the other half of the belt guard I used for the drive belt fab…
