Pretty good choice.

:text-welcomeconfetti:to the forum.  Good bunch of folks here.  Whatever you happen to break, somebody on the forum has broken, and fixed, the same thing.  They will be willing to share information and advice.

:WRS:  I am across the way from you.  Judging by the one picture, it doesn't look that bad.  Best of luck.

Welcome to the addiction.

These are fantastic machines. The more you do with it the more you'll be impressed.

If you're not too careful you may even make a friend or two.

We have Meet n Greets to get together and say hi.

One coming up fairly local to you.

@CrossThread Industries , nice pick up on that , think your most important thing to do is a thorough  BASELINE SERVICE , verify what works and doesn't work ,enhance  every function , total lubrication of every movement point , engine and trans oil flush and refill . new shifter boot , drive belt replace. I personally would give that a aerosol lubricant rub down till dry to stop rust and retain patina . good luck , pete

Steve's a great host with an excellent place to get together.

Trina and I went 4 years ago and have been trying to get back there for several years now.

If all goes according to plan we'll be attending.

Glad to have you hear with us and look forward to more :text-coolphotos: as you start adding implements. Wheel weights and chains will make your :wh: a real snow removal beast.  Liquid filled tires is another way to gain traction without breaking the bank.

Hey Pete and welcome. Another Hudson Valley WH nut added to the family. I'm right down the road from you.

Good luck with your new machine. You're going to love it. Especially when you start working on it and marvel how simple it is to repair most anything. And the folks here are always ready to lend advice, parts, whatever you need.

Good call! :wh:
