Can’t wait to see it at the Big Show

Don’t get too excited… you might be disappointed… but it’s good enough for a simple man like me.

Thanks for the compliment !

And I appreciate the encouragement !

What's with the yellow strip on the floor board Newbie... just somthin different?

That’s just like a safety stripe put on the edge of the stair step tread.

The material is designed to be stuck to a stair tread. I got it at Lowes…

I've used that same material on my foot boards.  Good stuff.

"Yellow!  Why's it always have to be yellow!"

Too bad they don't come with a RED stripe!

But they look great anyway!

Many long times ago in a land far far away I heard tales of a substance capable of fixing the aberration you speak of.

If I remember right the local folk called it ..... paint ???

I got the Work Horse air filter box on… waiting on the PTO safety switch from Fleabay…

then I will “fire it up, fire it up, fire it up !

I had to run a bead of caulk around the back of the seat where the seat back meets the cushion… I bought the seat from a guy on CL, and after it sat in my 98 Silverado back seat for a year I guess the glue got tired so I had to re glue  it.

Then I had to caulk the seam to hide the glue.

Also still need to touch up these spots on the rims where the tire shop scratched them mounting the Ags…

WHX??

How the heck did the tire shop maim those rims there? Usually they skarf up the edge like I do ....:hide:

Those look like hubcap marks.

I've operated tire machines in the past that had self-expanding jaws which would make marks a lot like those.

That was what held the rim centered while the tire was being installed.

Yep… that’s what did it…

the same shop did the tires on my 1994 520H without a scratch…

Wonder if it was because the AGS are stiffer ?

Not hub cap marks… no caps going on the Work Horse…

When I put hub caps on my 1994 520H rims, I put a little red dot where one of the hub cap clips lined up… that way as long as I always line up at least one clip with the red dot, if it does scratch the wheel, the scratches will remain in one place and not wind up being all the way around the wheel…

Of course how often does one take off and re-install hub caps ?

I've been wondering this whole time why they clamped on the front side of the rim instead of the back.......

A lot of the tire machines clamp on the deep side of the rim which in our case happens to be the FRONT, unlike most vehicles.
