roadapples 6,981 #1 Posted August 14, 2021 This comes up pretty often. The locking bolts in the axle hub should be torqued to 28-32 ft lb. Most know you can't do that with a 3" wrench. If you have an eight point socket, great. I don't. Not sure I've ever seen one. I use a 3/8" hex head socket 3/8" drive. I put the 3/8 drive end on the square head of the bolt and use a 3/8" socket on my torque wrench... 3 9 1 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
