I'm looking to build a home made weight box for the front of my 314 and I plan to use the shell of a mule drive for the attach a matic quick connect. I'm just curious how much weight 1 of them would be able to handle. I attach my snowblower to it and I can't see my weight box getting anywhere close to the weight of that thing. ranger 1,618 #15 Posted April 10, 2021 Over this side of the pond, “ALDI” the supermarket has them in at times. Cast iron, all different weights, I used the 10Kg ones as wheel weights, cost, a pound, (£1.00p) a Kg. The 10Kg ones fit nice and tight inside the Wheelhorse rear rims, I drilled 1/2” holes in them for mounting bolts. No reason why they couldn’t be used on the front, or rear, of a tractor as well. haydendavid380 759 #18 Posted April 16, 2021 (edited) They are good for quite a bit. I have a bunch of concrete on a extended shaft on mine and haven't had any problems.
