953 nut

The exhaust stack looks out of place but the rest looks original to me.

That was my thoughts but I wanted some confirmation that the ags could be ordered as is.

It brings back some fond memories even though I knew nothing of Wheel Horses back then.  Seems a bit odd that there's no deck, ags, and a fairly nice lawn.

Set to rototill maybe?

Or other gardening?

Gardening I'd think too.  Back in the days when many suburbanites had them.  I think that lack of interest in gardening and the ZTR kill a lot of interest in GTs.

That rear hitch looks interesting. Doesn't look like a standard slot hitch, or the brinly style either.

The Ag tires were a factory option as seen in this brochure.

That hitch is for towing a wagon or other tagalong equipment.

Part of the deck lift is there. 1960 used the rear hitch as part of the deck lift mechanism. Like 953 stated there's the add on bracket for towing on there too which was used because of the deck lift parts using the typical hitch.

Looks to be a 550, the shiny dot to the right of the steering shaft is the key start

I see the Fairbanks recoil...that’s a 4 HP Kohler and the tractor is a 1960 400 with the wrong hood decal....the shiny spot by the steering wheel is a reflection from the sun on the shiny paint of the hood. It has the 1960 foot pedals and clutch pedal.

The Tuul Crib

I have to say something about that hat because my father used to wear one a lot like that. He had a straw one in the summertime! I believe they were called a fedora.

That's correct. My grandfather had a couple that he wore everywhere. Also had a couple of straw hats that he used while out in the yard/fields.

We took a tally, there are 26 in the barn plus a backhoe outside, 4 are other brands.  70?  Woo hoo!

HEY, a rare sighting of Clay! LoL

Think you're right. the shadow indicates the sun direction and that shiny spot is the corner of the indent of the hood. But that recoil size looks awfully big compared to that gentleman's leg.
