Thought I would post a pic of a little project I have going with my 16 year old son.  Cant say no to a kid who wants to turn a wrench!

Got this free from my junk man friend and so far we have done the following:

-general clean up

-new carb

-rattle can paint touch ups

-pulley swap front pulley from 3” to 6”

-swap transaxle pulley from 8 3/4 to 5”

-make cheesy brake pedal to try to improve braking and separate that function from the “clutch” operation

-bypass all safety wiring switches (start w brake on, seat sensor)

-fit short length or 18” pvc pipe over each rear tire to take away all traction on asphalt.  Just held in place by tire pressure.

So, its a super dangerous piece of junk with no traction basically.  Runs well over 20 on a straight away but the kids just use it to drift at 4-5 mph which is really dumb but I can say that riding it really takes me back to being a kid between the sheer danger of it at full speed and the ridiculousness of drifting in circles at low speed.  So fun!

Have to change transaxle pulley to something larger because its just plain dangerous at full throttle- rattles like a coffee can full of nuts lol.

Would love to post a video of it in all its stupid glory.  Kids were lined up to get a shot a breaking an arm yesterday

Basically rev to full throttle and dump it in 5th gear and it breaks loose but hardly moves for a few seconds and its touch to control but so fun.

Too much work to upload to YT (never did it) sadly.  Would love to share tho- fun stuff

Super easy once you're set up.

That's what most of do.

Youtube usage makes it so the Redsquare website doesn't use its own memory.

If you have a Google/G-mail account you're already on.

what EB said.  If you can log on to RedSquare, you can surely upload YouTube videos.  If you have troubles, I’m sure there’s a YouTube video how to do it :handgestures-thumbupright:
