I would have take it as they want me to drill something, my caulking skills are not up to snuff, something needs loosened, I need help measuring, my son wants to borrow my ratchet, and they are just tired of picking up those dag gone beer caps! Underlying motives.

Oh got one of those caulk things.....it did help me! lol

Cool stuff!  The ways a child’s mind works...

As far as caulk or silicone goes... apply to a clean, dry surface (crack, inside corner, etc.) then spray the area with windex.  Wipe it away with your finger.  The windex doesn’t allow it to spread and smear! :handgestures-thumbupright:

All of those are great!

Key: I always lose mine for the drill press. ( Even when I finish and chuck it tight into the chuck) :confusion-confused: ( How much can a chuck hold if a chuck was tight with out a chuck key):)

Caulk smoother works well. (don't wipe it off on your pants) :(

Adj. wrench works well also for tapping a stuck pickle jar or beer bottle cap! :banana-dance:

Adjusting socket is awesome for the desk to hold your favorite pen.

Multi wrench is great when you need a small hammer!  :occasion-xmas:

Auto tape is also great for the desk. (something to play with when you're on the phone with your wife or her mother) :hide: (I worked with a guy who had one, we wore it out just playing with it) :banana-dreads:

Craftsman ratchet is great for when you're bored. (either polish it to pass time or put it on the mantle and install track lighting to take up some time) :happy-partydance:

Magnetic wrist band is great when watching TV. ( sit on the couch put your wrist between the cushions and collect stray thumb tacks sewing needles ect. Don't want to sit on any of those with a bowl of nacho's in your lap) :banana-blonde:

It has always amazed me that the importers of torque wrenches seem to miss in the translation department.

Their 1/2" wrenches cover 50-250 ft. lbs.

Their 3/8" wrenches cover 50-250 in. lbs. (4.1-20.8 ft. lbs.)

They do not have a wrench that will torque a 3/8" or 10mm bolt - both very common sizes.

Aren't they usually in the skyhook department?

If they aren't there, try the left-handed monkey wrench shelf.

hmmm ... interesting ...

I hate to caulk - and especially near / next to masonry ...

(can't wipe caulk from masonry ... not without leaving a mess )

is it there to try to fool a fool into thinking its standard and metric or is it there to provide the size of tool it is in which they conveniently give you two forms of measurement?
