I’ll tell you what kind it ISN’T!  The snake would surely run away if it was this Rye...  Sorry @stevasaurus, this bottle won’t get any lighter until you’re in town!

My wife enjoys a sip of Gentleman here and there.  She was stone sober and threw it up!  Rugged?  In the dictionary there is a picture of a Dino drinking this stuff!

I suppose, just like Scotch, you have to develop a taste and a liking for it.  There is 6 bottles in a case, and I have gone through a case and a half this year.  I need to go pick up another case before Thanksgiving.  As far as Kevin, I told him he should try a shot in a glass of Ginger Ale with ice.  A shot of Rock & Rye also cuts the whiskey nicely.  :occasion-xmas:

BTW...I was on to Eric's story when he mentioned a Cotton Mouth...he is too far north for one of those.  He might have fooled me if it had been an eel.  Tons of those in Maine...harmless, but I bet they like frogs.   :eusa-think:

Well done Sir!!!

No venomous snake in Maine but for timber rattler and those are so rare they're considered eradicated.

One day, My friend Bob and I were out fishing.

A funeral service passes over the bridge we were fishing on, and Bob takes off his hat and puts it over his heart. He does this until the funeral service passes by.

I said, “Gee Bob, I didn’t know you had it in you!”

Bob replies, “It’s the least I could do. After all, I was married to her for 30 years.”

Reminds me of Brad Paisley's "I'm going to miss her".
