One other thing to look at is speed. You're going to be chugging along slowly (at least I think that's the intent). It's not like you are racing around and going off jumps, putting extreme "shock" type forces on the universal joint.

Fairly simple in design and definitely not professional by far but, cushy for the tushy.😄😄   3/4" plywood base with 2" memory foam covered with remnants of an old tonneau cover.

After articulating it, there isnt as much angle it the u-joints as I thought there would be. I believe that's a good thing though.

I was expecting a custom molded formed to fit...  Later I guess...

Thanks. The tops are getting dipped in black. Apparently nobody uses it around here. It wasnt available locally.

Today has now turned into garage cleaning day. Getting ready to tear it down. Paint. Then reassemble closer to the BIG door. Wish I had a "paint dept" like @ebinmaine, but nope. No such luck. Maybe next time. Alot of rough edges to deal with on clean-up. So it will be slow going. Getting excited though. It should be interesting to see how this travels on concrete to get out the door.🤔🤔.

I've tried to hire her out on multiple occasions and so far I have not been successful.

 

If that beast doesn't want to get out of the garage but it looks like it's going to go on soft surfaces just latch onto it with the GT14.

That thought had crossed my mind. Although I have latched onto a couple things with that and had the front wheels in the air and didnt move it. I might only be able to get it to the edge of the slab.

Old rugs (sacrificial, of course) but better than grinding concrete. I guess you'll be adding the "landing gear wheels" at a future date.

Old tires would work too... seen them used for tracked vehicles crossing roads...
