Well @Gregor   Maybe you just started a thread that all members on here that own one might post up a picture of theirs with a short story about their search for one and some specifics on condition when they bought it and what they did to make it their own.    @tom2p    I believe there are 2 for sale listed at this time.

WHX??

I personally never had the hankerin for one. Just can't see havin a tractor you shouldn't be putting hours on no less than working it.  I'd take one it was given to me tho. I'd probably want to turn it  into a plow mule... :hide:

Especially at 6 g’s for a tractor with shiney wheels and no sentiment.  I’d rather put one to work or at least put around in it for that matter.

I dunno, I'd guess they were intended more for prestige ownership and possible collectibility (is that a word?) than to be true working machines.  Making a trailer queen out of it is probably more keeping in the spirit of their original mission than doing much with it.

The leather seat, steering wheel, chrome pieces, and hand painted bolt heads are all easily compromised by working.  My guess is WH didn't really anticipate them doing very much real work.  And at $8k when they were new it seems unlikely many owners really would have put them through their paces.

I think they were meant to be show ponies, not work horses.  But if you want to turn them loose on a plow day or for any other use, I'm OK with that too.
