Horse Newbie 7,380 #1 Posted October 24, 2020 (edited) Red Square members @WVHillbilly520H, @lynnmor, and more, I have found out while doing some wiring repairs and buttoning it back up that I have s bad light switch on my 94' 520H. Can any of you noble gentlemen tell me how to get the light switch out of my dash before I get a bigger hammer ? Does it come out towards the steering wheel or under the dash towards the battery ? Horse Newbie P.S. After I get the old girl ready to work in the fields I'm going to change my username... lynnmor 7,723 #3 Posted October 24, 2020 See the ears on the back side? Flatten them and push the switch towards the steering wheel. See photo. You probably can buy a switch at an auto parts store for a fraction of the Toro price.

I'll try to take it with me when I go to the Auto Zone, or other parts store (wherever I can find it). Thank you a million for helping me out ! I really do appreciate it. Horse Newbie 7,380 #5 Posted October 24, 2020 @lynnmor , Thanks for your help on the oil pressure switch. I tested the wire from the oil pressure switch to the ground on the hour meter and got no resistance so I know the wire is good. Then I put an alligator clip jumper on it, spun the engine with a drill and the light went out. So I think I have the right terminal for the ground to the hour meter. I now think my hour meter is not running... Please see my topic under wheel horse electrical. Any help would be appreciated greatly !
