Correct valve and piston for a charger

Recommended Posts

The Tuul Crib

I want to add the lift valve and the piston for the deck and the blade. But I want to make sure I get the correct one for this. I have a couple of sources for parts here but before I make the decision I want to make sure it is correct.was  it an option

or did they not put it on the charger?

Hydro lifts were standard on Electro's and optional on chargers.  Same unit. 8-4111

Is this the part number of the valve?

The whole package.  if you want part numbers of the various components look at a manual for Electro's

@pfrederi

Paul what's the purpose of #14?

Something to be adjusted?

#13 is a bracket to hold decal/scale #40.

#14 is a pointer to show the position of the lift on the decal.

So is #14 used on a 1970 model year Charger considering it has an indicator on the top of the console?

item 14 is part number 6649.

Shows up on many 1966-1977 models but not on the Charger until 1972.

I don't know what you have.

I'm not at home so I can't take pictures of it. The valve assembly and the bracket for the indicator was all removed and switched over to what I assume is a generic log splitter type valve.

The indicator on this particular tractor is just a hand-drawn little note on the top cover plate.
