bc.gold 3,406 #1 Posted October 10, 2020 The first truck image as found laying on its roof, second image flipped, horn button identifies as Ford, last image the steering box which I believe has full rotation and can be used as a small hand winch. A critter claimed an empty headlight.
bc.gold 3,406 #2 Posted October 10, 2020 (edited) Sentinel. Wisconsin engine with an awesome looking oil bath air cleaner, by changing the cap on the magneto it will fire a twin. Carburettor looks to have a brass float bowel. Edited October 11, 2020 by bcgold

bc.gold 3,406 #11 Posted October 12, 2020 (edited) 10/11/20 another day's worth of junk pictures to share. An old Volkswagen oval window soft top, year unknown, below the VW pictures a gasoline powered washing machine or rather whats left of one. This is a dangerous job, in the last VW image that's my boot resting on the window frame just above the steering wheel as I'm leaning inside to grab a picture of the dash. bc.gold 3,406 #12 Posted October 13, 2020 (edited) 10/13/20 ??? Thermostat from unknown engine or year. The science behind the bi metal spring, these were used on Carter carburetor autmatic chokes, the exuast manifold, your gas or electric cloths dryer use a disk, circuit breakers and motor overload protection. Hot water tank and your coffee pot, even your microwave has several. A bimetallic strip is used to convert a temperature change into mechanical displacement. The strip consists of two strips of different metals which expand at different rates as they are heated, usually steel and copper, or in some cases steel and brass.
